Sharon Woods founded KIP (Knowledge Is Power) Learning in 1999 after seeing how many families and students needed additional learning support. Starting with after-school tutoring and a learning center, Mrs. Woods realized how much more students needed and in 2010, opened KIP Academy, a full-time home school.

In her current role as Director, Mrs. Woods wears many hats – from overseeing day-to-day operations, managing human resources, creating marketing materials, and developing a curriculum. Through it all she prides herself on delivering on her promises through exceptional dedication, hard work, and most of all... "heart"

Mrs. Woods, a believer in life-long learning, holds a degree in Elementary Teacher Education and is currently pursuing a degree in Business Management.
